Decided to test out that waxcoating, usually ive been blasting it over with old engine oil + sawchain oil mixture works nicely but it is kinda messy work rather than waxcoating, next spring will give feedback did it survive winter. Blasted it into all holes what i could find in frame aswell, frame ...
Hey all! I’m seriously considering buying myself a Pathfinder, just doing some research. It’s likely to be anything from the 2005-2012 range but I’m just wondering if there are any particular year/model that I should avoid reliability wise? Also as regards MPG, how do you feel the diesel engine sta...
Amazingly, my 2005 developed this code couple of days ago. It Stumbled on the highway, kicking off my cruise control, a couple of bucks on shifting. I thought it was going to throw me into a limp mode. Swapped out the part with the Hitachi (CPS0008). Easy swap, actually, though that damn connector ...
This post was supposed to be on a different thread, sorry folks, i have moved it... these Z1 coils are on my short list though. So the Audi R8 coil packs went in easy and great. It does take a little longer to start than normal(takes a second or two of cranking before it starts as oppose to starting up right away with the factory coil packs). Car drives and idle smooth. I'll drive it for a while like this and see how I like...
At least for the V6 Pathy's we should be ok for along time.
The VQ40de was only discontinued for the 2019 MY so parts should be in the pipeline for a long time to come no?
My controls are slightly different since I have the V8.
But I used to own the V6 and seem to recall being able to lock out overdrive (which is IMO what 5th is), via the manumatic function and/or set the car to a "3" setting in the hills?
On an '07, you know that plastic coolant manifold is gonna break. The stuff embrittles 100% of the time with old age. So that isn't a question of if, but when. I'd call that a stitch in time, not chasing trouble. Mounts are easy to check, but you need an assistant. Have someone work the shifter D -...
So its a 2005 v6 auto tranny with less than 125k miles. Never had an issue, we do not live in an area with really steep terrain but are on a trip in the south with inclines of greater than 7 to 15 percent. When we go up these steep inclines it starts smoking and smelling like engine oil burning. Wh...
Some Europeans order items form american car parts warehouses which are always fully stocked.
Even thought he shipping cost will be higher sometimes it still works out when the price of the item is lower.
