New Tire Recommendations: 4x4 Mixed Highway/Off Road?

We are looking into some new tires in the coming months and are curious what other people are using on their PF's? We live in Colorado and are looking for a good all-season tire with tread mostly for highway, but offers a good mix of snow driving, wet rainy roads, and an occasional off road tire. Wh...

Thank you for the information! Now a feel a little more confident about trying them out. I figure they are a cost effective way to get some more light on the road. We're not really happy with the high beam output on our PF, and would like a cost effective alternative. Harbor Freight tools--harborfri...

Heated Mirror Install on a Non-Heated Mirror PF?

So, does anyone know if Nissan uses the same wiring harness for heated mirrors on the S, SE, and LE? As an SE owner in colder climates (snow), I'm curious if my SE is pre-wired for an LE heated mirror? Thanks in advance!

I agree. Frustrating isn't it? I guess we will just have to continue coming up with other creative owner installed/modified options for them. Do we know if there is room in the pathfinder frame to "deepen" that rear jack compartment? Or is the plastic jack holder molded to the metal frame?...

Interesting. Thank you for the information. Your trailer is about the size we are considering. I'd be interested to see how the Titan stock mirrors work. I have been talking with the folks on Frontyspot.com about fitting a Titan mirror on their Frontiers. So hopefully either a PF or a Frontier perso...

Travel Trailer Sizes--What sizes are people towing with...

I'm curious... since we've mentioned towing travel trailers with our PF's... what sizes are people towing? Compact/featherweight, conventional, larger (2-4 people, 6-8 people, etc). Just curious what sizes and how well the PF tows them. We are considering a travel trailer in the future and would lik...

Jack Storage Behind the Third Row Seats....

Isn't it silly that Nissan didn't make the jack storage compartment better? I'm mean it has these little shallow compartments, yet there is room in the compartment to make them deeper. At least deep enough for a tow strap or a set of jumper cables. Just venting... :)

For me a must have would have been dual zone climate controls with rear controls for the kids, as well as rear entertainment. We saved $13,000 over new by purchasing a stripped down SE demo model--but in the future--that's what we would have done. Bose is nice if you're an audiophile, as well as the...

I like and use the 3M heavy thick film stick on stuff. It does yellow over a few years, but you can just peel it off and stick some new on. A clear cover that goes over the headlight would be a much better thing. Just too bad people like to steal them.

One would think that a 2006 (my 07 doesn't do it either) would auto lock as soon as you put your PF into drive or at certain speeds like many other auto manufacturers. We were told the only way we could do this is by installing an after market alarm system. I think that's just silly. Come on Nissan!

GB I can't imagine there would be much of a MPG hit with or without the roofrack installed. At least not enough to justify taking the roof rack off just for the sake of 1 MPG difference. IF it's even that great.

We actually modified the "smuggler" box under the rear seat with a steel locking box (kind of like the www.tuffyproducts.com) boxes to hold valuables (ie money) when on road trips.

Ahh.. my apologies. I'd like to still find the tail light guards. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some--or just make my own.
