2005 Pathfinder, I average 18.5-19.5 MPG the entire tank. I don't pay to much attention to the MPG calculator on the truck. Sadly I drive it like I stole it, full throttle and crazy to and from work everyday. Yet, I still average those numbers. On a long trip with cruise I have gotten 21.6 before. L...

Seems as usual the tire guys have been lieing to me about replacing the valve stems every time a new tire is mounted. Looks like our TPMS is similar to chevys were a small screw holds the stem onto the sensor. So to me that sounds like the whole tire has to come apart sensor removed and new stem put...

Does this actually (try) to regulate the tire pressure, ie. it lets air out? Or does it simply monitor it? Also because the stem is attached to this could this be my weak spot letting out air? What was the fix did you replace them all?

Tire Pressure

I looked around a good bit before posting to see if any others had this issue. My tires seem to continuously loose air. The low air pressure light stays on so often I dont even care anymore. I check them every few days for 35 Lbs of pressure. They just all loose air especially one, new tire on back ...

So did you ever remove and re-do your running board tread? This is starting to get annoying when people trip getting in cause it catches their feet on the rear doors section. How exactly did you get them up?

THIS HORN IS SO AWESOME ITS ADDICTIVE. Worth every penny. I am an avid horn blower as it is and now I find reasons to hit it. :) It sounds that good. SO MUCH better than the road runner beep beep it use to have. Install was a nightmare at first, partly due to ill upkeep of truck. Positive terminal c...

Fuel tank True or False?

True or False The 2005 Nissan Pathfinder has a 21.1 Fuel tank? I ask this because I have only put a max of around 16 gallons in the tank on E with the yellow low fuel light on. The link below says it has a "reserve tank" with a total size of 21.1 gallons. That's 5 gallons not being used be...

In all vehicles I have owned and driven, regularly, I have never put in premium and felt a difference between it and regular. The range goes from Cadillac, Jaguar, Infinity's, Hondas and many more. IMHO Unless you are running a racing engine (super high compression ratio) and actually racing it (in ...

Finally got it and took pictures of the cut up harness. Used a scroll saw to half it then a belt sander to thin it down. 2006 Pathfinder SE with Bose works almost Perfect. The reason for the almost is you have to crank the sound up almost all the way to 31, for a normal 13-15 loudness. Might find an...

Horn issue

My 05 Pathfinder has such a weak horn. I was checking it out the other day and noticed it only had one horn, i.e. one frequency. The high one so it has a very sad beep beep sound. Is it suppose to have 2 horns a low and a high? It appears to only have wiring for one. Any ideas as far as what to do. ...

Another Newb from MS

Got a hand me down 2005 pathfinder from my Dad Monday, 105000 miles. It replaced my 2003 Ford Taurus. It has a few bumps, dings, and battle scars but it was a welcomed replacement. Found the site when looking for a way to setup an AUX input in it. Had the SUV less than a week and already had it tint...

So did anyone get it to work on an 2006 with Bose without NAV. Before I buy all the parts wanted to check and see if it was confirmed working, SHERV101 or MCAPSU ??? Also why does the harness need to be grinded, is it not the correct one for the radio? Got my PF monday and already starting to get it...
