The Airlift 1000 is a great upgrade. It's a super durable airbag that fits inside the factory coil spring. They aren't a spring replacement. Tons of drivers use them on this forum. In most folks opinion, the Pathfinder has an under-sprung rear-end. The airbags really help balance out the ride and yo...

I think you're missed the point of my post. I already installed an airlift 1000 on my PF's stock suspension. Then I lifted my Pathfinder and I wanted to know if there was a longer airbag that would better match my new, longer springs. Since no one had anything to say, I went ahead and installed the ...

What a nice day. I finally installed my skid plates. I came up short a couple bolts for the factory gas tank skid so that will have to wait. All the after-market gear fit up as advertised. It's no more challenging than putting on a trailer hitch for most vehilces. I can't wait to beat on them. Not t...

Welcome to the forum. I live just outside Denver. If you ever want to get your PF dirty, send me a message. It would be fun to get out there with other forum members.

Put your baby in the second row of seats. It's much safer.

Shrockworks makes really nice stuff. I looked at Shrock plates before I ordered mine. I chose the Skid Row units based on their better compatibility with a stock bumper (the shrock front skid is designed to work with their bumper), better price and better availability. Shrock also could not confirm ...

Very nice to see you back in a Pathfinder. It was also fun to see you push your old one to the max. You were one of a handful who super-charged a PF. Oh, and the retractable soft top... crazy! I hope the new one treats you well.

I just received my rear springs from 4x4parts.com. They look like they might do the trick to get my rear end to the correct height. They are much shorter than the OME springs (about the same as OE) but much stiffer than OE. Hope they have the magic combination of length and spring rate. I'll get aro...

I did some homework on this one. Pathfinders and Frontiers from the same year do share the same bumper part number (as well as almost all other associate parts) as long as we are talking about the fully painted bumper that comes on certain models of Frontier. It may be worth cross-referencing other ...

Found some!! They're Skid Row Offroad unpainted skids for Frontiers and XTerras. I bought them through 4x4Parts.com. They were about $575 shipped for all three pieces. Here are the pics. I'll do more before/after once I install them (not really in a hurry this time of year). https://lh5.googleuserco...

It sucks that Nissan spends their RnD dollars on a completely new, niche vehicle like the Juke when they could have just made a new and better Pathfinder and then enlarged the Murano to keep both sides of the SUV-CUV war happy. Those vehicles put Nissan back in the SUV and CUV game. Bummed. I prefer...
