Just clip the speaker wires for the stock amp, bypass them altogether and splice them directly together from the new HU. Or run new speaker wires. Simple job, really.

The stock bumper bolts to the end of the frame in front through two holes slotted through the body. There are two bolts per side, accessible through the fenderwells. There are two holes per side you can see the bolt heads through. 1/8" should be good for the skin, yeah. I'd think that 1/4"...

That's more of a bumper reinforcement/light bar than a "skid bar", and apparently that person lives outside the US, so good luck finding one...

FYI, WD21 Pathfinders were built from 86.5-95 and the 86.5-89's got a VG30i, not a VG30E.
