I have the V8 and get 16.5 consistantly.

I live in the country though and do not do much city driving.

This summer, I pulled about a 3Klb trailer along with 3 motorcycles on it down to North Carolina from Indiana and my Average only dropped down to 14 and change over a 800 mile range.

Thanks for the reply's fellas. I think the cost difference was about 5-10 bucks a tire. I was more interested in the bigger profile, but I also forgot about the preformace losses. Thanks for pointing that out to me. When it is time, I will stick with the 265-60's. A coworking just put Firestone Dest...

I have an '08 LE with 18" OEM Rims.

The stock tire size is 265 60 18

Does anyone know if the 265 65 18's would fit?

Also, how come at tirerack.com the 65's are cheaper then the 60's? If I am not mistaken, aren't the 65's bigger?

Mine has an electric release and the little compartment on the inside also opens the rear hatch. If mine had that it would have made life a lot easier, but I have an 05 S model so I had to improvise. I like what you did to take care of the problem. Necessity is the mother of invention! Good Work

I have an 08 LE V8 4x4 and I get about 16.5 mpg stock.

i live in the country to don't drive in the city too much though.

I am in the RV business and that is an awesome RV. I see that it has the company I work for's cooler box. ( the big gray thing on the slide out in front of the door). That thing is rough looking!!! Have fun!
