nissan charges a premium for the nismo badging.

i guess you can go with a K&N fpik and probably get the same results, but I love the CAI, i'd never go back to stock unless the MAF starts to go.

it sounds great and gives the PF a top end boost around 4500 - 5000 rpms.

115 on the PF, but doesn't it take forever to get there? Personally I got up to 103 and just gave up and i was running 93. as for the PF beating the 330i, its like beating up a retarded kid. the PF has at least 1 more liter of displacement on the 330. 4.0 vs 3.0... yeah i know the G37S beat the 335i...

it all depends on your definition of fast ... all BMW's are top end vehicles... they are tuned for maximum torque around 4500 rpms... so if you want 0-60... you might not want one... but from 60-130, you definitely do! as for the pathfinder... lots of low end torque, but not fast off the start. grea...

the button is usually located underneath the gas pedal on the BMW's. when you think it's floored... think again. hold the gas pedal firmly to the floor, then push a little harder... your head will hit the headrest and you'll feel like you own the batmobile! the main reason bmw uses I6's vs. V6's is ...

actually not really that odd...

remember all bmw's are sports cars not luxury cars.

the button when activated, the ECU puts it in sport mode which changes the shifting points of the transmission and enables WOT on the electronic throttle bodies.

obviously the guy in the 330i doesn't know about the kickdown button on his car... (it's hidden but in a very convenient place)

Thanks guys!

so i do own a 2007 Pathfinder V6 made in Tennesee...

now does anyone have a picture of p/n 87650ZP40B?

when i plug the p/n in to one of the online parts dealers it comes up as a "back assy -front" not front passenger's airbag.

i was told that since my pathfinder was built in the Tennesse plant and not the Mexico plant, it is not part of the recall campaign. i got a call back from Nissan USA and they said that the part should be at my dealer on the 23rd. we'll see... they said that its not the air bag sensor but the airbag...

i'm surprised that a vehicle that is still in production would have parts on backorder!

Airbag on National Back-order

I have a flashing airbag light on the dash, I took it into Sansone Nissan and they said that the Passenger Front Airbag was on National Back-order with no release date.

Is this true?

The car is still under warranty until February 2010. Do I have any recourse?

Thanks!

the excess oil from the filter can be sucked in by the engine and coat the MAF. I have used K&N filters on all of my cars and only one problem out of them all. That was just recently the 740iL, after awhile the Idle Control Valve went, we're not sure if it was the K&N but it could have contr...
