there is a huge difference in performance when switching from 87 to 93 and back.

i use 93 on road trips and 87 when my wife uses it as her soccer mom vehicle.

you also get better gas milage using 93.

ok update! wife and kids are back home with the car. the dealer said that the warping was covered under the manufacturer's defect warranty and the brakes were resurfaced (cut). my concern is if they were covered under the defect warranty, shouldn't they be replaced instead of cut? and shouldn't they...

ok the stealer informed me that brakes have a warranty of 12 months/12k miles.

so i consider that the lube...

he says that if there is a manufacturers defect then they'll be replaced under warranty.

the last place that touched those wheels were the stealer i brought it to for the 15k inspection/service.

the car has 18.5k now. and my wife is bringing it to a different dealer tomorrow b/c its closer and easier to get to...

what are my options?

you can remove them yourself and take them into a machine shop for auto repair and have them turned at 13.00 a rotor. The main problem is usually over torquing the lug nuts, and or not torquing at all. I torque lugs to 105FT. Lbs, I start with 50 FT Lbs, go in a star pattern, than increase to 105 F...

i was pricing rotors today... the EBC ones look nice but $220 a pop is nuts!

Braking issue?

When I drive the Pathfinder at highway speeds and brake medium or hard, there is a vibration in the pedal and the steering wheel starts to vibrate or shake noticeably. Is this a problem?
