It seems like that place sells the kits, but doesn't actually do the installation. Maybe I can find a local shop in the ATL area that could handle lit.

Note that you may experience some mild rubbing on the mudflaps at full lock. Mine did this, mostly due to gravel and road debris caught in them which caused some interference, but like I said, only at full lock. The only rubbing I've experienced is when the suspension is fully stuffed at full lock ...

Ok thank you for some clarification there and makes a bit more sense. The lamps on my 2012 Pathy seem to be in good shape. The previous owner really took care of it. I guess it wouldn't be a huge deal to send the lamps away to get retrofitted if it didn't take that long...could just drive during the...

The E-Rated tires will ride very rough compared to the C. I had E-rated REV02s on my rig for a couple years. You have to keep them at 50psi or so to keep them happy (wear wise). Makes for a harsh ride. That at 20-25 lbs of unsprung weight, I vote for the C rated ones. Note that you may experience s...

You can run up to 265/75/R16s. This was a factory size for 05-07 on the SE OFFROAD version of the truck. There are a few more options in that size as it is pretty common. Ok thanks and I had no idea that was a possibility. But you and the previous poster said that, so I will take your word for it, ...

HID conversion kit and sending lamps out for conversion???

I have a 2012 Pathy and trying to upgrade the headlights. I have read about 15 threads, going back about 2 years on this topic, but still don't understand exactly what is needed. Someone wrote this: "HID....but they don't work well in the stock lamps. Unless you want to go with the expensive 's...

265/75/16 is the max oem size that was installed on the Pathfinder-I probably would not want anything smaller than that myself. Thanks for all the info..very helpful. I was planning to go with 265/70R16, just because the calculator on https://tiresize.com/calculator/ said that was the equivalent ov...

Ok thanks. But there seems like so much space between the wheels and wheel wells with my current tires that I don't see how there could be an contact.

I wonder if could get four if I decided I needed them at some point. But starting out with 2 seems like the way to go.

What size wheel should I go with? My friend said 16, and someone above said 16 ,but seems like that means more sidewall and less wheel and more chances for punctures.

. If you want good in the snow skip the mud tires most of them are not good in the snow.. I want something that is good off road and on semi rough dirt road terrain (and I suppose mud), but also good in the snow. Maybe I am going to have to compromise on one side of this. Yes my friend recommended ...

Duratracs seem to be the consensus for an aggressive tire with decent manners on road as well. I am not looking for an all around tire with good road performance, although I don't want them to be nightmarish rough ride on the road considering i have to drive mostly highway to get out West. I was ac...

Need good off-road tires for Racetrack Road in Death Valley

I recently bought a 2012 Pathfinder Silver Edition. I love it, but want some really good off-road tires to drive out West (I'm in the Southeast USA), especially on the road to the "Racetrack" in Death Valley National Park, which is supposed to be very rough. The tires that are on it now ar...

How many tire snow chains for 4WD?

I want to get some chains and assumed I would get four, but the owners manual for my 2012 Pathfinder says: “Tire chains must be installed only on the rear wheels and not on the front wheels. .” So yes that's what it says, but I don't trust it, because doesn't say anything about 4WD vs 2WD or even me...

V8 MPG?

I'm shopping for a 2011 or 2012 pathfinder 4wd and wasn't really looking for a V8 but one popped up in a search I ran and wondering if it would be a good option. I don't have anything to tow right now but could see getting a travel trailer someday. And just seems good to have more power. However how...
