This is just my opinion of course but I would not waste 1 dime on any kind of cai system for the Path. Multiple reasons: 1. The air the Path gets already comes from outside the engine bay, therefore "coldish" or as cold as it's going to get. 2. If a cai was, somehow, able to introduce cold...
Yes exactly this^, you do not need a kit. And if you do buy a kit get the Metra kit but all you will use is the very small trim piece that surrounds the outside face of the unit to help fill the gap and make it more aesthetic. I know this too well, mine dips and it shakes the truck violently. I actually think it might be a compressor problem. It only does this after coming to a stop after having been at highway speeds. Then, it will stop after it has cycled 10-15 times roughly. I dunno...
