This is what I would change: Stiffer suspension Make all 4 windows one-touch down and up All 4 doors unlock when you hit the remote once Move the button on the dash to the end of a stalk to scroll through the different on-board computer screens (e.g. MPG, DTE, etc.) Have a spring loaded coin holder ...

I did a search on H&R's website for these springs. They don't give any info regarding them. My specific question is how is this considered a "sport" spring if there aren't matching shocks with different valving? Putting stiffer springs in with mismatched shocks can create other handlin...

The only thing I could fit in those is an ice pack and a few beers

Is the auto headlight sensor adjustable?

When driving in shaded areas, my headlights are constantly turning on and off. Is there a way to set the delay or sensitivity so they take longer to switch on?

Re: Is there touch-up paint for the interior?

[quote="Greybrick The local Nissan dealership tells me no they don't have touchup paint for the interior, but to check with a body shop for a base coat color match and clear coat overspray of the part. .[/quote] Thanks for doing the legwork for me. When I have some time, I'll stop by a bodyshop...

The GPS install looks very nice. Can you tilt/rotate the unit so you can have a more driver oriented view of the screen?

Is there touch-up paint for the interior?

I have a few small scratches on the silver console pieces I'd like to fix. Does the dealer sell this or does anyone know of a paint that matches?

...Ok there. What I plan on doing is undoing the original install, and running the "lights" and epoxy it to the side of my rear view mirror, and then running the rest of it, power and unit cables, up into the mirror covers (the cover hides wiring ON the windsheild) and run it back around ...

Now a question for you: Do you feel your laser jammer does anything useful? All the independent reviews I've read say that even the best provide only marginal protection. I have the Blinder. I've only been hit with laser once (on 287 S, near 202/206) and it saved me. It just jams the signal momenta...

Have you tried mounting the V1 above the rear view mirror? I was wondering if the black "sun screen" will block the radar signal. Most everyone has answered your other questions, so I'll address the radar detector. I also have a V1, but without the remote display. I've got mine mounted jus...

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! The Nissan factory foglight switch part number for 1994 and newer Friers, Pathfinders, etc is 999F1-6E000 which will work great for driving lamps, about $20 from the dealerships, http://www.courtesyparts.com/, http://www.nissanparts247.com/, etc. Here's a phot...

I cant answer any of your questions but did look into switches. THe factory switches are like $50 +a little. Everything I could find had printed icons for heated seats and such. I did this as backup plan. Its not perfect, but looks decent and only cost a few bucks. http://i226.photobucket.com/album...

Re: New owner/noob with lots of questions

Have never hard wired a detector. Do they detect laser ahead of you, not at you? :) Actually I have a laser jammer that does that on my other car. I'm just worried about radar on the PF. Just wondering if there is a simple point to tap into (e.g. sunroof switch) vs running a wire all the way around...

Re: New owner/noob with lots of questions

Is there a way to program the remote key so that all doors unlock at the same time?. On my Audi, I can program that through the OBD 2 port. Just hit the remote unlock button twice. I realize that's how it's done, but my other cars can open all four with one press. When I want to open the hatch with...

New owner/noob with lots of questions

Hi, Just bought a "new to me" '06 SE 4x4 with 11,600 miles on it. I have a bunch of questions and was wondering if some of you might have the answers. I read through many of the posts here, but didn't find what I was looking for, so here we go... Is there a switch available that replaces t...
