lost reverse

Postby derrick719 » Wed Sep 15, 2010 9:52 pm

so i just picked up a 94 pathfinder and been driving it no prob for 2-3 days then went to go back up and it would not go any where if i revved it, it would go a little but thats about it. thinking it could be low on fluid but that was checked yesterday. will check in the morn had to get to work and now its dark.

just want to ask i know if this is common and can be fixed or if its pooched.
i know the nissan 300zx 84-88 auto were crap i went though 2 in 6 months is the pathfinders much the same? am i better off doing a 5spd swap in this 2

I'd go for the 5 sp swap, that is the first sign (usually) that your autotragic is toast
