Hey just wondering if anyone has attempted to splice the aux in to add another input? If you have please explain I know there is a 3 wire connection and i figured there was a left, right, and ground.

So after the lack of help from anywhere or anyone I attempted to do this my self. So I went to Radioshack and bought a male to 2 female 3.5mm jack. I cut the 2 female ends off and stripped the wire. There was 3 wires exposed (Ground,Left, and right) So i soldered the 2 female 3 wires together and then used t taps to get the signal to the wire. If your wondering the plug the factory aux in has the left and right channels pins on top of one another and the ground is all the way to the right by itself.

The end result I can now plug in my carputer and DVD player audio behind the dash and have the sound through the aux from the factory.

ANyone loking to do this!!!
Make sure you dont play two signals at once it will cause distortion and is not too clean sounding
