08 w/ bose and backup cam aftermarket options??

I've got an 08 with bose and rear camera but no navigation. all my climate controls and status displays (i.e. fuel mileage, tire pressure) are integrated into my display. I really want and aftermarket navigation but am worried that forementioned displays will no longer be integrated or compatible with an aftermarket HU... what are my options?? Pretty new to this whole pathfinder thing and any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm looking for the same thing, but all the options I have seen on here are not as seamless as a factory unit

Is there a way to utilize the factory installed screen and add navi that is integrated?

The navi factory units are identical

Just a thought as I'd like to add navi as well

yes I've done it on my 08.

I've added Navigation and DVD to the screen without affecting the functionality of the built-in options.

the screen is actually nothing more than a simple Video display. You need to find the source input to the screen, and tap into it.

I tapped into mine from the reverse camera. it has an extra "Video in" that u can use to override the screen and display whatever you connect to it.

Added a rocker switch to use NAV or switch back to built-in menu.
