2008 SE Offroad wheel

Postby Kyson » Mon May 28, 2007 10:11 am

Has anyone seen one of these yet? The web site calls it a "Machine cast aluminum wheel", and one of the photos looks as if the wheels may be non painted, and in a natural clear coated cast aluminum finish.

I thought it looked sharp. The last two years' brochure's pics were heavily slanted to the Offroad package. This year the V8s are the star, so there are fewer OR package pics to scrutinize. Please let us know if someone has seen one or has found more info.

Thanks!

Dude PM people on crap like this. Is it really necessary to move such minutia to the top of the subject line up? A post made a year ago on OEM wheels? Try Google image search if your that bored.

The 2008 OR, LE, and V8 wheels are all machine cast this year and look much better in my opinion.

After a trip to see them all in person, I decided I liked the appearance and size (17X7.5 vs 16X7 for the OR) of the Cast LE wheel better and am on the hunt for some takeoffs of same.

Still deciding if we four-wheel enough to merit the OME and 285s, or just opt for another set of Terra Grapplers in 265/17 this time. We have almost 30k miles in our first set now.
