VIN Lookup

I'm in the process of buying a 2007 Pathfinder 2.5L Diesel and need a little help because I can't find anything on my VIN other than it was made in Barcelona. I want to know as much as possible about the vehicle because I'm supposed to look it over again at the dealership in a few weeks before we complete the sale. I have seen so much on the transmissions fails and get a little skeptical about buying so I want to be informed.

I have not seen anything on this version of the Pathfinder with an issue online about the Tranny failure, but as I'm in Costa Rica any oversight can be costly on my end.
