R50 vs R51 off road

bottom of the line 4x4 model of each of these models....apart from the plastic cladding, body on frame vs unibody, solid live axle vs IRS....which is better offroad than the other...and why?!?!?...i realize i just opened a can of worms.....time starts.....NOW!!!!

the r51 has slightly more ground clearance, more torque and the antispin and stability control.
the r50 has the better angle of approach and depature and is lighter. it is also slightly narrower.

it comes down to personal preference. i personally prefer the r51 but thats probably because i own one. i wasnt a fan of the r50 cause of it being unibody.

Easy, the R50. Smaller & has actual articulation, which has been the only sore point with the R51 & my travels.

So its sort of safe to say...2nd Gen Xterra is an upgraded R50...new engine, new driveline, diff body...R51 being the obese sister of the Xt...but bottom line nuts and bolts the same...right?!?!
