Listen to radio while engine stopped in 14 Pathfinder

Postby aplyons » Thu Apr 03, 2014 4:58 pm

Just bought the 14 P.F.
First experience with engine start/stop button.
I know it's a dumb question, but how does one listen to radio (like the old ACC setting in a conventional ignition switch) and/or use electrical while the engine is off?

Thanks a lot. Andy

Believe it or not, you can't. As soon as you tun the car off the radio stops playing. It sucks. I know.

Most vehicles that have the push button start/stop require you to press the brake to start/stop the vehicle.

Also if you press the button and not push on the brake, you should be able to turn all the accessories on without the vehicle starting.

Try this and let us know.

A great help that is! Couldn't imagine being without that capability, and I don't know what I would have done without your help there. Andy

Glad that worked for you. That's what this forum is all about, helping others.
