Hello all.. just traded in our '06 Xterra for a new Pathfinder! The wife and I made some fond memories in the X, wheeling and traveling. Now we look forward to making more with the Pathy and to hopefully meet some of you out on the trail. Here is our old X after the two inch lift with 285's were installed, which was a perfect combo for the trails around here.

And here is our new baby... before the mods!

All righty then

What made you decide to swap the X for a Pathie? I'm guessing the extra room. Welcome!

They were actually out of Xterra 4x4's at the dealer due to the sale they were having.. so we test drove the PAthfinder... and fell in love with it! End of story! I will check out the Nissan AZ site...

We have done a lot of trails around the area.. our favorites being up in Sedona including Soldier's Pass and Chicken Point. Bloody Basin Rd is another good, long trail. Have not had the PF out on any yet.. but we will. How about you?

So far none. We just got our Path in April and haven't taken any trips yet. We mainly wanted the vehicle for the towing capability so we went with 4x2. That will probably limit us from several of the trails you go to since your 4x4. 4x4 is a must for Chicken Point from the pictures that I have seen. Would you agree? I have been on some paths in Sedona that look like they are suitable for 4x2, but I'm not familiar with Soilder's Pass or Bloody Basin.

Bloody Basin is not in Sedona.. it is north of Black Canyon City.. and is basically a road the leads off of the I17 freeway, and meanders into a fairly smooth trail all the way to the town of cavecreek. That one you could do. We actually might be doing that one this sunday.. depending on how things go. Will let you know. The other two in Sedona, I doubt you could make it through.. couple very rough spots on both.
