Fuel Level Sensor 2008 Patty

Postby KellyGee » Wed Jul 23, 2014 9:14 am

My fuel gauge started acting up and wasn't giving me a reading even after filling up and then it shot to full a few days later when it was probably a quarter down then the check engine came on. Turns out that this is a recalled item but only a few 2008's are covered in the recall and mine isn't one of them. Anyone else having similar issues? I just don't wanna shell out the $400 if I don't have to.

Thanks,
KG

Lots of people have had this issue. It was actually a recall on 2006 models, but only a service bulletin on other years. Replace the fuel sending unit and erase the stored codes.

I currently have the same issue, very annoying and throws SES light on.
