Continental LX20 crosscontact

Postby Bandy1080 » Fri Dec 12, 2014 12:37 pm

Thanks to everyone on here for helping out with the tire decision. Ultimately after reading all the reviews i decided to take the leap and go with the Continental LX20 with ecoplus.

I have about 1k miles on them now and here is what I think -

Pros -
Very quiet
Unbelievably smooth and absorbs a lot of bumps
Amazing in the rain and standing water
Fantastic in the snow (drove on ice and 6 inches of snow and I couldn't even get them to spin out in 4H)

Con -
No increase in MPG in fact it has gone down about 2%

Overall I am very very pleased with these and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. It is like night and day over my POS Yokohama Geolander H/T-S.

New tires will almost always cause a drop in fuel economy.

I have the same ones now with 45,000 miles. I love these tires and they were less expensive than the factory installed ones. Will buy them again !
