Postby Citcope » Sat Sep 06, 2008 9:35 am

OK i am getting ready to buy new tires and need some information....
I have a S model and am lookin into buying 265.70 R16's, i am just curious on what i should look out for when replacing them with the TPMS? Do they have to replace the sensors when replacing the tires?

A good place *should* break the bead, then remove the sensor entirely. Then continue to dismount the old tires and mount the new ones. A tech who pays attention could perform the procedure w/o removing the sensor and with out damaging it, but people with attention to detail are few and far between.

No need to replace a sensor unless it is damaged.

ok I will make sure that who ever changes the tire to not damage the sensors.
