Backspacing question

Postby DiBo » Wed Apr 09, 2014 8:17 pm

so I'm running 285/75/16 with 2" suspension lift.

I want to get steel wheels and was wondering what backspacing could I go with so that I dont have to cut the body work. I dont care about trimming or heating the inner fender plastic but i dont want to cut any metal.

I dont know very much about backspacing or offset or whatnot.

this is what I have in mind

Anything in the negatives and you’ll need to trim, I would shoot for +20 to be safe. Factory is +30, at least it is for the LE 18”.

I have black Pro Comp wheels. 16x8 -12mm no rubbing. no trimming. They stick out about an inch estimate. Part number 7089-6868. There is picture of it on this site under PRO COMP WHEELS

What size tire, that's the kicker.
