I have a 93 Pathfinder v6.....it sounds like a tractor when you step on the gas.....I have heard there are quick fixes for this.....I'm not really interested in putting new parts on it.....just want to quiet it down some.....what u think?????

Broken exhaust manifold studs are common and can make it sound pretty bad, but unless you tell us where the noise is coming from, it's difficult to advice you on what to do. If it is broken exhaust studs, I don't know of any quick fix. The exhaust manifold would need to be removed, the broken studs would then need to be removed (which usually requires careful drilling) and replaced with the updated studs from Nissan, and the manifold reinstalled. There was a TSB on the issue.
