wheel spacers with stock 16s and 265/75s?

Postby radeonDEUS » Fri Jun 26, 2015 12:09 pm

anyone running spacers with stock 16s and 265/75s (or any other wheel/tires setups)? 4x4 parts has some listed, come in 2 packs (why not just all 4?)

http://www.4x4parts.com/i-18915015-6-on ... pacer.html

I have heard that spacers can cause issues but have no experience and have no idea about the validity of that statement. Not dead set on getting them, just want to do a mod and cant afford the suspension lift for a while.

Thoughts?

I've used them in th4 past with no issues. That is the type of unit to get, they're essentially wheel adapter but with the same bolt pattern as stock. It's better to use the OEM stud to bolt the spacer which then bolts to your wheel vs the extended stud units.

I can say with my set-up that it was fine, and it was a fairly robust set-up (large tires, etc) Lift w/295-65's, 18x9 wheels, 19mm sapcer/wheel adapters.
