Postby khavel » Tue Jul 28, 2015 8:34 am

Can anyone confirm if a Bullydog will give me transmission temps in my 05 SE OR?? This info is not easy to track down.

Well a Bullydog representative emailed me back and they're system shows that parameter as something they're product should show. Anyone have one?

I don't have one, but others on here have reported they are reading it with the Bullydog. In fact, when I was searching to see if one of the cheap bluetooth modules that plugs into the OBD2 could read the trans temp, many referenced the Bullydogs capability as proof that it is possible. To my knowledge no one has figured it out on the cheap OBD2 modules yet though.

Thanks AZ. I bought one of the cheap WIFI OBD2 modules to pair with an APP and got nothing for the TRANS temps. It did a good job pulling a code and turning off the Check Engine Light though!

I'm using an OBD2 bluetooth with Torque app and no trans temp is readable.
Only coolant.
Huge disappointment.
People have been pushing for it on forums but doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

Yes, I have an 05 Pathfinder with a Bully Dog and it DOES show transmission temps to the degree.

Very useful when towing heavy in hilly areas.
