Heat shields ?

My 2012 R51 has a heat shield rattle Before I get under the truck to investigate what do I need to keep them quiet? Anyone here have some experience fixing them?

depending how bad they are rusted out, you could use some stainless steel clamps to hold them down. Mine are so far gone, I am ready to rip them all off.

Sometimes they need adjusting, sometimes installing a radiator hose clamp works, sometimes you mind as well remove them due to rust and in some cases you just need to pick out the assorted rocks and stones that have gotten stuck in them. It's best to keep them installed, if you can.
