TPMS sensor fuse?

Postby welder1974 » Fri Oct 21, 2016 2:47 pm

Just wondering if anyone out there with a 2008 Pathfinder SE find a fuse for the TPMS light on the dash. Im really not interested in spending $300 for new sensors!!!!! I'm putting new tires on and will have the shop just put new stems in. Any info is greatly appreciated.

There's no fuse for "just the TPMS system" and it is against federal law to disable the TPMS system. Many states will fail a vehicle for inspection if they discover the TPMS warning light is non-operational, however, they can't fail it if the TPMS warning light is "on" because that shows the system is operational. You can get Dorman Direct-fit TPMS sensors from Rockauto.com for about $40 each and they have a lifetime warranty. They work fine and I have them in two R51 Pathfinders and in an '07 Maxima.
