Help! Front spring coil insulator!!

Postby garnos » Sun Feb 26, 2017 7:01 pm

So I'm installing my new Dobinson's suspension when I come accross this little note-"please reuse your front coil lower insulator" This of course throws a bug monkey wrench into my work-I have to completely disassemble the front shock assembly to pull out a worn out 100k+ miles piece of rubber, which even though it would add another hour of work to my swap it is also shot so is not even worth reusing! Does anyone have a part number? I can't find it online and I really can't understand why a suspension package would not include $20 worth of rubber! Frustrated!

Doesn't show there...it's supposed to be on the bottom of the spring, a rubber doughnut!

Maybe, except that piece goes inside the coil. I'm thinking of using vacumn tubing just on the bottom coil or trying the one for the Maxima and trimming any extra...it's dumb.

If you look at the pic, it kind of looks like there is a part that goes inside the coil, and the bottom part could be the part you are talking about.
