05 Pathfinder P1705 & P0303

Postby ebber99 » Tue Apr 11, 2017 5:43 am

Hi,

I took my pathfinder in for a different issue to the transmission place this morning and noticed that it was idling a little rough ( misfiring according to the codes ) can these 2 codes be set off for the same issue? The only thing that I did since last driving it was replaced the serpentine belt.

where is the TPS on this thing, maybe I hit it while taking off the cover to get at the belt?

Just called the dealer and that sensor is actually in the throttle body, I'm hoping that its just a spark plug or coil pack that is causing the misfire

Check the connector for the throttle body sensor. Maybe it came loose or water/dirt got in. Also check the vacuum hoses as well.
