Postby zoodragon » Wed May 10, 2017 9:34 am

has anyone here done one of these before?

i get a pretty solid discount with mcmaster through work so all in i could probably get it done for around $80 and some time on the lathe.

looking for around 2" total.

That's a wicked deal if your just going for looks and bigger tires. You can get an actual 3" lift from 4x4parts.com that comes with the extra stuff like steering extension and brackets for the bumpers and what not, night be worth the extra money. I'm sure someone on here has done a diy. I've been thinking about a body lift but I'm loving the 2" suspension lift so far.

oh it's got a suspension lift already. just want to raise the body so it actually looks like its lifted

the damn thing comes from the factory too low as it is considering it's a body on frame 4x4.

What kind of lift and how much do you have already? What components you have?

Go for it!
A 2" body lift will raise your center of gravity only an inch, so you won't even notice it driving, but it will look a lot better! 8)
