wheel spacers

Postby fronypony » Tue Mar 08, 2016 2:23 pm

Your truck looks great!

I am looking into adding wheel spacers to my pathy as well, just wondering how you like yours and if there are any problems with them so far.

I have 2" rancho spacers in rear and 2.5" rancho quick lift shocks in the front with 33" tires on my 2005.

I want the stance to look more aggressive

Sounds like my plans for my pathfinder. What fuel mileage do you get with the 33s? Right now I'm running stock size and get about 13l/100kms.

I had a shop by me put the body lift in and they said it did take a lot longer than they thought to install. The lift comes with everything needed, so no weird mods to install.

My only suggestion would be to use LOCKTITE and torque the nuts down to at least 90 - 100lbs!

Another member asked about the price and I didn't see a reply. Smith Offroad doesn't list anything so I'm guessing this was totally custom?

Sorry I thought I replied...maybe it was another thread.

It was around $2000...totally custom.
But I was lucky enough to have some of that covered with insurance money after someone rear ended me!

Ooh pricey. But it looks like quality work. Maybe down the road a bit.

My brother just got a welder to start with a bed rack for his Tacoma and plans to make rock sliders and both bumpers and keeps insisting I design a tube bumper and rear tire carrier.

I'm looking for that rear bumper. Is there a company in North America selling them?

Doesn't seem to be any ARB style REAR bumpers in North America at all... anyone know of any?
