gps won't track

gps won't track

Hello

have a 05 pathfinder LE the map shows up but won't track does it need a update or is there something else that needs to be done and the speedometer is not working will that effect it

No experience here as mine doesn't have gps.

But I would wonder if the speedo would affect it, is there an error code or CEL to help with diagnosing that issue?

There a CEL but nothing comes up for a fault for the gps

U1001 P0500A P2525 P1547 and can't remember the last one

P1574 NISSAN ASCD Vehicle Speed Sensor (did you transpose the 4 and the 7?) but could definitely be related to your gps problem.

P2525 Vacuum Reservoir Pressure Sensor Circuit - Brake booster leak?

The U code will probably go away once you clear the rest and repair the issue.

I'd start with the speed sensor connector on the transmission.
