Help needed on a 1997 Pathfinder

Postby sporta » Mon Oct 16, 2017 11:42 am

Hello all,

Trying to help my sister in law out on her '97 Pathfinder 4x4. The drivers window got shattered by a rock flung up by a weed eater...when I went to replace the glass, it seems the inner door tracks that guide the window up and down disintegrated....does anyone have a picture on how to replace them? I am getting ready to make a run to pick-n-pull to see what I can find but any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve

It sounds like you need a new glass run. It just presses into the channel after you remove the window out of the way. You can still get them from Nissan for around $120-$130 online. You could try and get a used one, but I'm not sure how good of a decision it is to use a 20-year old, rubber, glass run?

I agree, that normally a used glass run would not be the best idea...as I am paying for this and not her....I'm going to check pick-n-pull lol Thanks again.
