Broken Gear Cable Attachment to Gear Selector

Postby AndrewT » Sun Mar 04, 2018 6:23 pm

The eye connector that connects the gear selector cable to the gear selector appears to have lost it’s inner retaining ring or something. Anyone know the part number to replace?

I believe Nissan sells it only as the whole cable assembly; they run about $30. I'm not sure if there's an aftermarket option or not, however, to replace just the bushing.

It is a plastic bushing that holds the cable to the lever. There are aftermarket replacements available. A quick google search should get you a parts source and a youtube video.
