bosal towbar

Postby Graham W » Fri May 25, 2018 6:24 am

Have obtained a cheap bosal towbar to fit the pathy.

Have offered it up and marked and cut the rear bumper in situ.
Had to go and get some new nuts as the nylon and supplied nuts were painted and naff, so hadnt dropped the spare wheel.
I used my Dremel and plastic cutter to trim the bumper, simples :=)

Question is when i come to fit the top metal braket/support as ther seems to be some rubber 'lumps' on the buttom of the top bumper mount.

Hard to see with wheel up, so asking if anyone has any pics or advice. id like to keep bumper in place if possible to fit the towbar.

Cheers in advance peoples, happy bank holiday

An update for others to read,

This wouldn't go on without the bumper being removed.

Luckily for me sort of some-one hit my o/s quarter so needed a respray.
Cheeky git as i am i asked the bodywork shop to put the towbar on for me when the bumper was off, so all sorted now.

Now to choose the correct tow electrics......................
