Snorkel Options

Postby r50pathcr » Thu Jul 12, 2018 10:44 pm

Hey guys,

What are the available snorkel options for a r50 with the 3.5 engine?

From what I've seen there's no kit really designed for this type of cars, but rather you need to adapt from another car?

It also seems like the 3.5 engine has an air intake resonator box the takes air from the bottom of the car vs from one of the sides?

Thanks in advance for your inputs!

Thanks... I'm wondering if this kit would work on the VQ35 and VG33 engines? Since R50s have both engines... not sure if the intakes of both are the same? I would think no...

It should, as both engines have the air cleaner box in the same location and it does list for 96-04 Pathfinders, which covers both engines. If you have any concerns, you can always give them a call. 4x4parts.com specializes in Nissan off-road trucks and performance parts, so they'll know.
