Winshield replacement

Postby jetstream87 » Thu Aug 30, 2018 4:44 pm

Unfortunately I was involve in a chain of accident (I was #5) fortunate the car is still derivable and most important we were all able to walk away from the accident. I walked away with just minor scratches and a bit of soreness. The car sustained damage on the windshield with has two cracks due to the impact of the airbags. I been looking at Rockauto for the replacement and was wondering which windshield to get since they have one with the transmit antenna signal and non-antenna transmit signal. Will appreciated with any guidance and help.

Usually, it's cheaper to have an auto glass specialist do the job and supply the glass. However, to answer your question, you should supply your model year, trim and if you have a Bose radio or not.

Yeah, to avoid problems with leaks I would just have a specialist or shop do the windshield.
