Postby jackthesmack » Sun Dec 02, 2018 5:46 pm

Hi there I’m new to this and to owning my pathfinder, I am over the moon with it so far but the only down side at the moment is: I have sound with cds, phone and satnav but when trying to play FM radio there is no sound at all, can anyone help, I have a 6cd system with satnav screen in the dash. Thanks Jack

Evesham in the UK ?

I had problems with my unit, ended up just cutting the rear wires for my issues,

The head unit is built into the CD 6 changer. And the amp ( unlike the Bose system )

See my link here where the unit is.

The heads are like rocking horse poo, about £200 on Ebay.
The screen is just that, a screen.
Be gentle pulling the main fascia off, the 'seat belt & hazard' switches are brittle and i pulled mine off, had to glue the back in place.

Head comes out with 4 screws.

There is also a FM ariel 'amp' somewhere in the rear headline.....

Hope some of this helps

Did you fix your radio problem Jack? I’ve got exactly the same issue, no sound from FM channels but I do on some AM and the CDs play ok.

Is it possible to replace the 6 CD changer with another one or are they coded to each individual car?

Thanks in advance, Jay

I have a 2005 T Spec Pathfinder
