Auxiliary Fuel tanks successfully done on an Xterra

Postby palmerwmd » Sat Mar 16, 2019 11:53 am

As many of the cognoscenti on here know the R51 Pathy is identical in many mechanical ways to the 2nd gen Xterra.

I am convinced this will work for us as posted:

Awesome thread, thanks for sharing! WOW!! That's now on the list, may really need it someday. That extra range would make all the difference. Fuel capacity has always been a concern, even with jerry cans. Thanks to the OP also!!

I'm believe there is at least 2 different Australian companies that are making Auc tanks for the R51. I know one is LRA and I can't think of the other off the top of my head. Here's a link to one on ebay... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AUSTRALIAN- ... 3131266550

Skylar.. I contacted one of those companies once. They said they could do it but since LHD need measurements in order to build a tank for our LHD models.
I would love to have such a fuel tank as soon as i can justify the expense.
