Locating the fuel pressure regulator

Postby Joshpath » Mon Aug 05, 2019 6:20 am

Guys and galls can you help me find the location of the fuel pressure regulator. I'm smelling fuel up on starup, and it getting heavy over time. If you have images send them. Also the fuel damper which i believe i found. I just want to be sure. Thanks guys

The fuel pressure regulator is built into the fuel pump module in the gas tank. To my knowledge, it's not available separately from the fuel pump module assembly. It's not much of a pic, but you can see where it's located on page EC-640 of the FSM:

I don't see where it would cause a gas smell other than the fuel pressure being too high. Check the fuel pressure; spec is 50 psi. If it's in spec, the regulator is good.
