Question, and my apologies if it was asked before, is it possible to change the factory Radio/GPS for a newer one? if so, recommendations of models?

Almost everything I find is for replacing the factory radio only models.

Are you asking to upgrade your GPS/NAV maps? If so you should be able to buy a map update and have your local dealership install it for you.

If you are asking to upgrade your entire entertainment center with a 2008 or newer module, I don't think this is possible as the wiring harness and PCM will be different.

However there are many members who have upgraded their stereo to an aftermarket unit. Hit up crutchfield as they have been mentioned many times on this forum.
