Hello
I was told that I need to get a new one and then the tire shop can put it in for me... Any advice on what I should purchase and how to go about correcting this issue?

Wow.. This is a great tip!smj999smj wrote:It depends what you need. It sounds like you need a TPMS service kit. You can get them from most auto parts stores for around $3. It'll contain a new valve core and new seals for the sensor. If the sensor is damaged, then you'll need a new TPMS sensor. I use Dorman direct-fit TPMS sensors which can be purchased through auto parts stores, but I get mine from Rockauto.com for about $42 each. If you replace the sensor, the sensors will need to be programmed. If you use a service kit, they will not need to be programmed.
