Skid plate

Postby bmramon » Mon Dec 01, 2014 3:32 pm

Just picked up a new to me 2005 Pathfinder LE and upon looking below, there is no skidplate mounted below the radiator.

Where could I pick one up? Are they expensive? Will it reduce ground clearance?

Skid plate, front: 50810-EA00A
Oil filter access plate: 50814-EA000
Bolts: 081B7-2452A (X2)
Bolts: 08146-6162H (X4)
Bolts: 081A6-6122A (X2)

Online prices, you're looking around $140 for everything, plus shipping. Directly from your local dealer, you're probably looking around $180. You could always try finding it at a salvage yard. No, it won't decrease your ground clearance.

Thank you! What about on the aftermarket space, is there something worth getting as an upgrade?

You may want to check www.4x4parts.com. They specialize in Nissan truck accessories.

All the front stuff from the X/Frontier work for the Pathfinder. Same set-up.

Skid Row also offers some.

Oil filter access looks a lot better than the factory skid on my 06!
