Upgrade to Nav on a 2014 Pathfinder SV

Postby smiley6180 » Tue Jan 06, 2015 5:06 pm

Hello all,

I have a 2014 Pathfinder SV trim and am currently sporting the awesome low res display screen and non-navi controller. I was wondering, can I upgraded my screen, master controller and switch assembly to what comes on the platinum edition to gain this functionality?

According to Nissan I can't, which I'm finding hard to swallow.

At the very least I would love to upgrade my display screen to the hi-res screen, is that doable?

Thank you in advance.

I just bought a 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid SV yesterday. I have the Bluetooth, backup camera, and DVD system. I'd love to add the Nav and Nissan Connect but not sure if its possible.

People have been trying to do this for years on Nissans as well as other manufacturers. The problem is the main harness is different, for starters, on Navi models compared to non-Navi models. So, in general, the answer is "no." Of course, anything is possible when time, money and ingenuity is unlimited! Bottom line is that if you want the factory Navigation, you should purchase the vehicle with it already installed from the factory.
