What Max size of tires can I put?

Postby pathfindy » Sun Jul 12, 2015 1:36 pm

I recently installed rancho in my 2010 Path LE V6.
I got the RS999938 in the driver side, and the RS999922 at the passenger side. At the rear is RS9000XL. So far I just leveled the ride and adjusted the struts to 1.5". I got stock size tires and it Looks hella ugly to my eyes now. I was thinking of getting the Fuel Hostage. Wondering what max size tires can I put without any rubbing issues? Thanks a lot. Appreciate it

I believe general consensus is 33.2" tire fits without to much work provided you have the 1.5-2" lift. If stock suspension is used I would stay around 32.5" or so.

Here's the same set-up with Fuel Hostage wheels. I also went bigger on my tires 285/70/17 but I had to do A LOT of trimming under the wheel well because of rubbing, including taking the mud guards off.

Did you post about the trimming that you made? And taking the mud guards off what are the cons

I ask this on other placs, too - how do you guyz manage to pass tech inspection service with larger tires? I have only 2 tire dimensions written in homologation sheet, everything else does not pass.

North America is very loose on their inspections and regulations so we NA guys don;t get much grief, if any at all. I don;t and mine are a little on the extreme side.
