valve screws in the intake can work loose and fall down into the engine.

I have 105,000 and my le 03 sounds great , I don't have any reason the take it all apart until I do a spark plug change . should I have any concern to check these screws now or wait. I did call Nissan not a dealer , the big company and asked about these screws and they said if the vehicle was made in Japan on the vin Number your safe with this issue.

what do you think ?

To my knowledge, all R50 Pathfinders and their Infiniti cousins were made in Japan. I've heard of the problem occurring on 01-04 models, so having the power screws checked wouldn't be a bad idea if you plan on keeping her for a while.

Yes I usually keep my cars for 200K or if the repairs out weigh the market value. Thank you
