Nissan Sentras are tough!

Postby Kestral » Thu Apr 28, 2016 6:54 pm

Last week the wife and I took a Cruze and one of the Royal Carribian stops was Mexico I forget the exact port we stopped at but anyway we needed to take a cab to the shopping areas. I managed to hail down a Nissan Sentra cab and long story short I asked the driver about his cab. It was a 2002 Sentra with 325,000 miles on the original motor with a stick shift and only on his second clutch!

The driver owned the Nissan Sentra as well as two others that he has drivers for both with similar millage. He told me they hold up great and he will continue to buy them. I must admit it was not the most comfortable cab ride after all the Sentra is a small car and I'm a big guy stuffed in the back but I was impressed with the reliability.

I also noticed a mid size Nissan diesel van that I have never seen in the States that are also used as cabs it's a good looking mid size van and they were new.
