95 pathfinder - time to part it out?

Postby bartine » Mon Sep 12, 2016 6:26 am

Im at a point with my 95 where it needs a bit of work. The engine only has 100k miles, and doesn't burn any oil
the interior is like new, rust free running boards and rear bumper
lots of good parts

Is it worth parting out? The frame is solid now after having re-built the rusted bits just a couple of years ago

Thoughts?

What is stuff worth? It needs over 1k of work and I don't have time to get it done...

The problem with parting it out is it takes time to get your money out of the vehicle, you may have to pull some or all of the parts and then you're still left with getting rid of the "remains." WD21's are still popular and getting harder to find with low miles and a frame in good shape. Your best bet may be to sell the vehicle as is. Low retail on these is in the $2000 range. There are always young guys looking for off-road vehicles and don't mind getting their hands dirty.

@bartine - What did you decide to do?

If you are parting yours out, let me know, I need some pieces.
