I tried to post some pics the other day and tinypic was just crapping out on me. Anyone have a better site these days?

Yeah I kinda forgot that I still have 1/2 a spacer and slightly longer springs in the back. But I may take out or cut the spacers down a little to get the camber/caster back to normal.

Just the back was done to match the longer travel in the front.
I'll also post some pics next time I jack it up without the sway bars connected!

have you researched what your gonna use for the sas'ed rear? Ive been looking into it and over here in Aus they sell a 5link kit for the d40s (our frontiers).. need ta do some measurements to see if kit is useable in a pathy or if it would take much to modify to suit

The 2x2 steel is 11" and 3" respectively.
Here it is painted with the bolts for one side:

Very nice. Came out perfect.
Im glad it worked out for you.

Now you used a little bit of loctite but make sure to check torque regularly. Mine came loose on the road and even more loose ok the trail.

That is awesome.

Is it possible to do the same with the front?

Not as simple. But it can. You need to brace the entire thing since a drop bracket in the front isnt just lowering a sub frame more of lowering the LCA mounts lower. So then you will need to raise the spindle mount on the UCA to match the geometry

Thanks!
It rides nice with a little forward rake as well!

Yes I used Locktite Blue, but if I find them rattling loose, I'll switch it to Red!
I also ordered 2 extra bolts (which should be in this week) just in case I lose one or one breaks.
It's a safe mod, but I like to be careful as well.
Going to start carrying extra items going forward that I think might fail on a trail.

Yes the front is a bit more complicated but doable with enough time, money and ingenuity! Take a look at the calmini lift and all the parts that fit the front!

So far your ready for some wheeling. I still have to work on my front end a little. I have to make some custom UCAs and fix rack pinion bushing plus power steering minor leak

Talking about fall runs. There is an all nissan event that gets hosted by cali,Nevada, and AZ. Rotate every year. Called CANVAZ this year is AZs turn so normally AZXC takes care of it. Ill be helping organize the event. We will have have trails from green to red.
Not sure if i have mentioned if before since its quite a drive for you plus its being held in west AZ.
Oct 14-17

But im pretty sure i can squeeze NM this year might make it a club event.
I have to hang out with xterras and frontiers lol

Not to start up a old thread or anything but has anyone else on this forum tried this bracket drop in the rear?
